What is the rebalancing period for my delegations? Our script runs every hours and places you back on the best validators within that time frame.

Is there a lockup period? There is no lock-up when using Mentat. You can unstake your tokens instantly at any point in time.

How do I add new TAO to Mentat Minds? If you already have an address using Mentat Minds, you can just send more funds to your account and they will get automatically staked in the next 24 hours.

What are Mentat Minds' fees?

Mentat Minds does not charge any fees on transactions or users’ gains. Revenue is generated through a standard 9% staking fee, all while optimizing for the best possible APY.

To put it simply, if a portfolio of 10 TAO earns 1 TAO from staking, Mentat Minds will take 9% of that earned TAO, or 0.09 TAO.

Is there a minimum requirement for using Mentat? Yes. For Mentat Minds, you should have at least 0.5 TAO in your wallet. For Mentat+, the minimum depends on what you select: 0.5 TAO per index and 0.1 TAO per subnet. For example, if you only choose one bundle, you need at least 0.613 TAO; if you only choose one subnet, you need at least 0.213 TAO in your wallet.

Why do I have 0.093 “Reserved” TAO?

This is a portion of your TAOs that is necessary for the proxy to function. These TAOs are not working but will be returned to you if you decide to revoke it.

Why do I have 0.2 “free” TAO?

These are TAO that are not staked. They are used to cover all transaction fees.

What is the “Remark” when I sign into my wallet? It's an encrypted message added by Mentat Minds in the remark field of a transaction, allowing the platform to internally track details like partner, allocation, or the wallet's DCA strategy, while keeping this information confidential and inaccessible to external users.
