The options offered in Mentat+

Mentat SoS index allocates your capital in 100% of the allocated capital is invested in the Sum of Subnets.

Allocation: 100% of of the allocated capital is invested in the Sum of Subnets (all active Bittensor subnets, except those in deregistration zone).
Rebalancing: Subnets entering the deregistration zone are automatically removed from the index and added back once they exit this zone. Mentat Minds is also responsible for selecting the best validators on each subnet to optimize APY.
Distribution: The weight of each subnet in the index is proportional to its price.

The Mentat 5 index allocates your capital into the top 5 Bittensor subnets, selected and weighted based on trend-confirmation metrics.

Allocation: 100% of of the allocated capital is invested across the top 5 subnets.
Selection: The ranking of subnets is determined using an Exponential Moving Average on the marketcap. This ensures that only subnets with confirmed performance trends enter the index, avoiding short-term noise.
Rebalancing: When a new subnet enters the EMA-based top 5, it is automatically added to the index, and the portfolio is reallocated. Mentat Minds is also responsible for selecting the best validators on each subnet to optimize APY.
Distribution: Within the top 5, allocation is weighted using an EMA applied to subnet prices. Higher-priced subnets receive a larger share of the portfolio. The allocation share in each subnet is automatically adjusted according to changes in their market cap.
